TOEFL is a test of English as a foreign language taken by international students to prove proficiency in English. The test score is widely accepted by institutions in USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia and other European Nations. ETS is the administrative body of TOEFL
Structure of TOEFL:
TOEFL iBT(Internet-based-test) is divided into four sections and test English ability in TOEFL Reading, TOEFL Writing, TOEFL Speaking and TOEFL Listening. The total duration of the test is 3 hours.
The division of time for each section is a s follows:
- 17 minutes for Speaking
- 50 minutes for Writing
- 54-72 minutes for Reading
- 41-57 minutes for Listening
The validity of the score is 2 years. The test is conducted at ETS authorized test centers around the world.
